Stillmat - New Official Puck of Open Leagues!

Starting in the Winter 2022 season, the Fraser Roller Hockey League is proud to announce that the Stilmat Puck is the new official of all Adult Open leagues at FRHL!

Stilmat is a company based out of the Czech Republic and specializes in high end flooring along with the Stilmat Puck. This puck is the official puck of State Wars Hockey, along with many international leagues, including the Ligue Elite de Roller Hockey League (France), Lega Nazionale Hockey (Italy), La Liga Capitalina (Columbia), Master Inline World Hockey Association (MIHWA), and most notably, the Inline Hockey World Championship (FIRS). If you've watched Team USA play with Inline Hockey, this is the same puck that they play with at the highest level!

Some facts about the Stilmat puck along with some interesting information with other pucks:

• The IDS ProShot & Rocket Puck weigh 3.6 ounces each. The Stilmat Puck weights 4.3 ounces. For reference, the Blue Pucks used in Ice hockey in the 10 & Under divisions are 4 ounces. A regulation ice hockey puck weights 6 ounces.
• Stilmat was first picked up by State Wars Hockey in 2020 and has been in use since.
• As of this posting, the FRHL is the first Inline Hockey League in the United States that officially uses the Stilmat Puck.
