FRHL Launches Michigan Fury Organization

The Fraser Roller Hockey League is proud to announce the formation of a new inline hockey organization, The Michigan Fury, one of the newest teams to enter the Professional Inline Hockey Associations ranks in the PRO division for PIHA!

The Michigan Fury will be based out of the Fraser Roller Hockey League, which participates at Big Boy Arena, a key venue in the area. The organization is focused on creating a dynamic and competitive environment for players, with a strong emphasis on community and teamwork.

In an ambitious move, the Michigan Fury has announced its entry into the Professional Inline Hockey Association (PIHA) PRO Division for the upcoming season. Founded in 2002 in Middletown, Pennsylvania, by Charles "CJ" Yoder and Jami Yoder, the PIHA is a premier inline hockey league that features some of the best talent in the country, including players who have represented TEAM USA. The PIHA's structure includes PRO, Semi-PRO, and Minor divisions, with teams competing from across the United States, including states like Colorado, Michigan, New York, Pennsylvania, Connecticut, New Jersey, Rhode Island, Iowa, Tennessee, Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, and more.

The PIHA is a new addition to the region and we are excited to be playing against some of the best in the business" said Michael Farinelli, General Manager for the Michigan Fury. "Joining the PIHA PRO Division is a significant step, and we’re eager to compete against some of the top teams in the nation."

As the Michigan Fury prepares for its inaugural season, the organization aims to make a significant impact both locally and on the national stage, solidifying Fraser’s place on the inline hockey map.
